2017 Youth Rodeo
New this summer:
*****There will not be call ins this season. All entries will be done the day of the Rodeo. Books will open at 8:00 am and Books will close to ALL ENTRIES (unless you are physically waiting in line) at 9:30 am the day of the Rodeo. Late fees will only apply if you are not in the entry line prior to 9:30 am the day of the show! LATE FEES ARE $15 PER FAMILY.*****
*There will be 6 saddles awarded at the end of the season. 1 saddle for all around boy and 1 saddle for the all around girl per each age division.
*Jackpot 10-14 Mini bull riding & 15-21 Jr bull riding will be offered this year. Rough stock events will be jackpot only including calf riding. Mini & Jr bulls will be supplied by CBar Rodeo Company. Check out the jackpot events entry under YOUTH SHOW TAB at the top of this page for events offered, rules, cost, & payout.
*Jr Bulls and Mini Bulls will be the first event of the youth rodeo this year !! Be ready to ride at 10:00 a.m.
*Year end prizes for each age group (boys and girls combined) per event will be up to 4 places.
*Youth rodeo members must compete at 3 out of the 5 rodeos to be eligible for year end awards this year.
*Payout is 60%
*Wayne City Saddle Club membership fee for a single is $10 and for a family is $20.
*Youth rodeo membership is an additional $20. Both memberships are required for youth rodeo contestants.
*All shows will be CASH ONLY! No checks will be accepted.

The Wayne City Saddle Club is organized for the purpose of providing means for the members thereof to enjoy all phases of horsemanship, riding, training, showing, pony pulling, and to further the social and recreational activities of the club members and to educate its youth to participate at competition levels of all horsemanship aspects, the training and humane treatment of the equine, and encourage youth to excel and further their education. This includes maintaining and operating a saddle club arena and their grounds for civic, educational, and athletic purposes.
