New this year will be Mandatory Grounds meeting at each rodeo. Grounds meetings will be at 9:30am sharp. All announcements at the grounds meetings will supersede all previous announcements.
We are blessed again this year to have the Olive Branch Baptist Church and Bro Steve Hamson with us at our rodeos. We are looking forward to Cowboy Church at each Sunday rodeo. Church will be at 8am.
We will be giving away one of the most prestige awards a rodeo contestant can receive again this year. "The Top Hand Award" If you've ever been referred to as "a hand', then you know it's a welcome compliment the horse world. It is one of the highest titles a Cowboy or Cowgirl can earn. We don't take this title lightly. This award is given to the contestant that exhibits stellar sportsmanship, horsemanship, work ethic and a all around good attitude inside the arena and out.
This year the award will be giving in honor of a great friend to the saddle club and all that knew him. In honor of Chuck "Chucker" Youngblood. Chucker was an amazing person. He spent many hours at the saddle club and was willing to help anytime he was needed. Chucker was a great husband, dad, son, brother and friend. Chucker is loved and missed by all that knew him and will never be forgotten.
Camping will be available again this year. Spaces are limited and can not be reserved. First come first serve. $20 donation per night or $30 per weekend (2 nights Fri & Sat). Tie outs are permitted as there are no stalls are available. There is plenty space for parking and dry camping is free.
We are always looking for sponsors. We give away over $10,000 worth of prizes and your sponsorships make this happen. It is not mandatory for contestants to collect sponsors but any and all would be appreciated. You may download the sponsor form here on the sponsor tab and mail sponsor info and money to the address on the form. The sponsors business card is always a plus. Thank you in advance!
